OWP/P | Cannon Design and Ghafari worked with a major airline on the design of a new cargo sorting and processing facility at O’Hare International Airport.
The facility will include a 280,000 SF cargo handling area, 125,000 SF mail sorting area, 35,000 SF SLAC system and 10,000 SF of mezzanine office space.
The project is required to comply with requirements of the O’Hare Modernization Program and will be seeking LEED certification with the United States Green Building Council.
