District 217 takes pride in creatively and economically maintaining its existing 1920s school building and sees itself as a steward of the community’s resources. As District Architect, OWP/P successfully completed numerous renovation, expansion and life-safety projects for Argo Community High School. The work included a field house addition and renovations to the wellness center, gymnasium and locker room. To control costs and allow shared-use of facilities, the 38,000 sf fieldhouse addition was built on the parking lot adjacent to the gym.
