This renovation to a student center in the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering provides a new, innovative place on campus for students to study, collaborate, and relax. With a program that adapts to the students’ range of needs, the center encourages interaction through multi-functional and unconventional spaces.

The students’ ability to modify their environment changes the static nature of walls and furniture typically found in higher academic settings. As they arrange their space, students determine the level of flexibility and transparency and become designers of their own environment.
