The objective of the Cayman Islands Ministry of Education is to provide a framework of opportunities for all learners on the Islands. In an effort to equip their students to compete on the international stage, the Ministry of Education is in the process of updating their current educational program.
Taking an innovative approach to learning in the 21st century, OWP/P has been developing a prototype plan for high schools that can be implemented at three schools. The plan embraces the concept of project-based learning, a learning approach where students develop interdisciplinary skills for living in a knowledge-based, highly technological society.
