The new schools will feature athletic fields, track and field facilities, cricket ovals and swimming pools. Until now, these types of facilities were not easily accessible to the communities living in the Eastern districts of the Islands.
One campus includes a gymnasium designed for international competition. It accommodates nearly 2,000 stadium spectators and 3,000 for assembly. The 34,442 sf fieldhouse houses facilities for netball, basketball, volleyball and indoor cricket practice. The other campuses have smaller fieldhouses with an attached 25-meter swimming pool deck shared with the community.
An early design proposal for a covered Cricket grandstand at one campus accommodates 2,000 spectators and 20 press members in an enclosed press box.
