Chris Liakakos

AIA, ACHA 

Chris is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and a key leader of the firm’s healthcare group. Chris has more than 38 years of healthcare facility master planning and design experience that includes some of the top academic medical centers in the nation.

He was Principal-in-Charge for The University of Chicago Hospitals’ Duchossois Center for Advanced Medicine and campus master plan, he led the planning and implementation of Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s 528-bed replacement hospital, and he has been the Principal-in-Charge for numerous projects over the last two decades at Froedtert Hospital, including a master plan and the new 500,000 sf Cancer Pavilion and provided strategic planning and design services to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Chris is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the American Hospital Association, the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health Professional Interest Area, and the American Society of Hospital Engineering. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Design from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
