Located in Chicago’s West Loop, this new 16-story speculative office building by Development Resources, Inc. provides a flexible and efficient work environment. A structural steel braced frame system enables the building’s 33,000 square foot column-free floor plates increased flexibility for future possibilities and lease value.
Operating under a limited budget and an aggressive schedule resulted in the selection of pre-cast concrete on the East and West facades and curtainwall on the North and South facades, the more public side of the building. This reduced construction time, allowing two facades to be built simultaneously.
