Director of Business Development-Healthcare

Outstanding opportunity available for a National Healthcare Business Development Director to join our team. OWP/P Healthcare’s Business Development Director leads and implements a national BD strategy on behalf of the firm—generating major client and project opportunities and helping to secure work for the healthcare practice. This individual pulls from an existing, strong, national network of clients, end users, and strategic alliances to tee-up the Healthcare market’s sector leaders in accordance with the market’s business plan for national growth. 
 
Responsibilities of the Healthcare BD director include developing and implementing strategy to facilitate lead generation on a national basis including relationship building and identification of target clients and projects, driving growth by expanding project opportunities into an extensive geographic region, networking within the architectural and healthcare industries, tracking and reporting ongoing process with senior team members, debriefing clients on pursuits, and building a knowledge base of national players in healthcare architecture.
 
The position requires superior communication and organizational skills, has demonstrated ability to work with teams in multiple locations, and proven ability to comprehend and manage issues that impact profitability. Candidates should also have an established, proven network of national clients and contacts, specific experience in hospital, clinical, and academic medical centers, and past net fee goal responsibility of $10-$15 million per year. Minimum ten years professional experience with at least five years in a business development role in professional service industry is also required.
