OWP/P has been providing master planning services to Digital Realty Trust for their 1.1 million square foot Lakeside Technology Center in Chicago, Illinois. The facility is a multi-tenant mission critical facility, and is the showpiece of the Digital Realty stable of technology facilities, one of the largest providers of mission critical leased spaces in the world. OWP/P’s involvement started with a study for the construction of a building to house eighteen 2.0 MW generators for a potential single floor (140,000 SF) tenant. OWP/P is in the process of completing an infrastructure design for power and cooling provisions for five tenants, including a centralized base building cooling plant to replace the district cooling.
