With $8 billion in assets and expectations of immediate growth, a manager of a large group of banking and specialty finance companies opted to relocate its executive functions into a single headquarters building. OWP/P assisted this financial corporation with the site selection process—analyzing nearly a dozen sites throughout the northwest suburbs before selecting a property that optimizes its access to a major interstate.
A sawtooth design increases the amount of perimeter available for window-wall offices without creating a long, narrow building. These crenellations create multiple courtyard spaces, increasing visual access to nature from the building’s interior.
