The project, along one of the premiere urban boulevards, is an integral part of a nine-block hotel, retail and entertainment development known as North Bridge, named because the retail arcade connects the city’s main shopping and entertainment districts.

Developed by The John Buck Company, this technically demanding project required the dismantlement and reconstruction of the landmark façade of the 1929 McGraw Hill Building and the creation of a new 90-foot high glass-enclosed atrium and four-story retail arcade. The shops at North Bridge provide open and airy retail and restaurant space on four-levels, and a four-star hotel occupies the top 14 floors.
