Mark Hirons

A principal of the firm with more than 17 years of experience, Mark is a specialist in directing interiors projects for corporate environments. By always keeping clients’ interests at the forefront of his work, Mark is a skilled design leader and an ideal liaison between clients and their visions and the rest of the project team.

He led the Interiors PIA of AIA Chicago from 2001–2004 and is currently on the Board of Directors and Chair of the AIA Chicago Foundation. Mark has led the design of spaces for notable clients such as Comcast, OfficeMax, Staubach Company, Transwestern Commercial Services, assisted United Airlines with the relocation of its corporate headquarters. Mark often works in historically significant buildings. For a multi-award-winning bank project, he designed furniture, fixtures and rugs to meet contemporary needs sympathetic with the landmark arts-and-crafts building. For 10 years he has designed additions and renovations for the Saarinen-designed University of Chicago Law School.
