Northern Arizona University is working with OWP/P to design its new Health and Learning Center. This addition and renovation will include 56,600 sf of student health space; 72,000 sf addition to and 39,700 renovation of student recreation space; 27,200 sf athletics space; and 68,600 sf of general classroom space.
The design of the facility creates a student-focused environment to inspire, support and promote holistic wellness through medical spaces, group exercise, indoor elevated jogging track, climbing wall, gymnasiums and locker rooms.
In tandem with the OWP/P-designed Student Union and Dining Hall expansion, the new Wellness Center continues NAU’s commitment to sustainable healthy lifestyles for its students. Together these buildings will expand and open the core of the campus, providing students with a wealth of recreational, health and dining options.
