Because Northwest Community Healthcare’s philosophy is one of holistic healing and wellness, a major component of the Master Plan was a new Wellness Center.
This three-story steel structure, with a glass spine that runs the entire length of the building, incorporates nature and natural light and encourages human interaction in a physical environment. A cost effective system which permits program flexibility and plan modifications, structural steel helped to enhance the volume of open space by allowing larger bay size and smaller foundations.
