Reykjavík University selected OWP/P as the one of five finalists, and the only US-led team, for its closed master planning design competition. With student population increasing at an astronomic rate, Reykjavík University (RU) decided to plan for a new 50-acre site. RU envisions a campus with an international presence for education and research that promotes and incorporates the Icelandic business community. Design of the campus centers on the university library and comprehensive student center. Special attention is paid to incorporating uniquely Icelandic features in the overall design and material palette.
