Scott Nelson

AIA, ACHA 

Scott has earned a reputation as a planner of complex, multi-phased renovation and revitalization projects. He is sought for his expertise in planning and designing high-tech spaces such as imaging, cancer care, and surgical environments.

Scott has presented on optimizing design for efficiency and effectiveness for OR and ICU settings in Germany, and on the integration of design and strategic planning at the Symposium on Health Care Design.

Scott’s experience includes the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO, a master plan for Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, IL, and a master plan for Froedtert & Community Health, Milwaukee, WI. Currently, he is working on several projects at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, one of which is the planning and programming of the hospital’s ICU.
