This 4-story building on Walgreen Co.’s corporate headquarters campus was designed to accommodate the company’s rapid growth. The primarily open plan allows views outside through floor-to-ceiling glass walls, creating a pleasant, light-filled work environment, in support of Walgreen Co.’s recruitment and retention efforts. Exterior solar screens, made of patterned glass and steel, improve views in and out of the building and admit more natural light.
